Biography
I am a data scientist and AI engineer with a strong research background in symbolic AI, machine learning, and medical imaging. My goal is to build intelligent systems that are trustworthy, explainable, and beneficial to society.
Research Interests
I am passionate about creating transparent and interpretable AI systems that combine symbolic reasoning with statistical learning. My work includes:
- Applying rough set theory for discretization and feature selection in complex datasets
- Designing deep learning architectures for medical image segmentation, including 2D/3D MRI brain scans
- Developing symbolic models for reasoning under uncertainty using logic-based frameworks
- Building AI-powered platforms to support social welfare, using real-world data from government institutions
- Exploring ethical AI applications that enhance transparency and trust in automated decision-making
I believe in bridging the gap between theoretical AI research and practical societal impact.
Background
I hold a Master’s degree in Data Science from Princess Sumaya University for Technology and a Bachelor’s in Software Engineering from Al-Hussein Bin Talal University, where I graduated first in my class. I currently work at the National Aid Fund in Jordan as a researcher and data engineer, developing and maintaining intelligent social protection data systems.
Looking Ahead
I am actively seeking a PhD position where I can contribute to advancing symbolic AI, logical reasoning, and real-world applications of machine learning. I'm especially interested in projects that bridge theory and impact.
